# Trading Modes

To switch modes, you need to go to the trading module into the following setting:

**One Way Mode**

In One Way Mode, you can only hold positions in one direction by one contract.

**Hedge Mode**

In Hedge Mode, you can simultaneously hold positions both in the long and and in the short direction by the same contract.
